World of Warcraft: Shadowlands’ world bosses

Patch 9.0.2 for WOW has introduced four new world bosses to the game, with a weekly rotation schedule, allowing a new one to be available each week. The four world bosses of Shadowlands are by order of apparition, Mortanis (spawned during the week of December 8, 2020), Oranomonos (spawned on December 15), Nurgash (spawned during the week of December 22) and Valinor (spawned on December 29). You can find these bosses in all the new zones of Shadowlands except the Maw. They drop level 207 items as well as legendary power recipes and conduits. The rotation schedule of the bosses are as follow:

  • December 29: Valinor;
  • January 5: Mortanis;
  • January 12: Oranomonos;
  • January 19: Nurgash;
  • January 26: Valinor;
  • February 2: Mortanis;
  • February 9: Oranomonos;
  • February 16: Nurgash;
  • February 23: Valinor;
  • March 2: Mortanis;
  • March 9: Oranomonos;
  • March 16: Nurgash;
  • March 23: Valinor;
  • March 30: Mortanis.

Each of Shadowlands new bosses has its own specificity. Valinor, the Light of Eons is a construct built by the Kyrians as a way to test their warrior. He was unfortunately corrupted by the seed of doubt and fight every creature he meets. Valinor is located in Bastion.

Mortanis in an infamous necromancer of the House of Rituals, he has conducted various experiences on himself in an effort to gain a new form and has become more dangerous than ever. You will find Mortanis in Maldraxxus.

Oranomonos the Everbranching was one of the eldest guardian of Tirna Scithe; she has decayed alongside the great tree. Her wilting has rendered her unable to distinguish between friend and foe so she attacks every creature she comes across. She can be found in Ardenweald.
